West Mersea natives and Jersey rocks are both a must here (Queen Victoria issued the restaurant a royal warrant to supply the monarchy with oysters), and the rest of the seasonal menu features the best of the British countryside and the waters that surround it. There is also a traditional carving trolley with meat and fish that changes daily.
