Review for this restaurant

As is often the case with important restaurants in France, it’s hard to separate fact from fiction when it comes to this historic Italian dining room. Luisa and Angelo Valazza opened Al Sorriso in 1981, taking the place to the top of gastronomic world in the late ’90s. Though it is no longer at the vanguard, it is still a comfortable luxury restaurant with classic preparations, elegant sauces and wonderful service by Angelo and the couple’s daughter, Paola, who acts as sommelier and guardian over some of the top bottles produced in both Italy and France.
