Richly decorated with Kashmiri shawls and hand-cut marquetry in the colonial style, opulent Jamavar is the Leela Hotel Group’s first restaurant outside India. In common with its five sister restaurants, it takes a pan-Indian approach, absorbing influences from the royal kitchens of the north and the seafood strongholds of the south. It must have at least a dozen signatures; kid goat shami kebab, Tellicherry pepper and garlic soft-shell crab, lobster Nerulli and Old Delhi butter chicken are among the best.
