This bar with just nine stools, located along the perimeter of the famous La Boqueria Market, was one of the sensations of 2019. The ingredients used in chefs Arnau Muñío and Shu Zhang’s daily menu, sourced from the market’s stalls, are turned into a nine-course tasting menu that pairs Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. Dishes are inspiring: sardines with pear kimchi, Maresme peas with strips of squid and chunks of Iberico ham, a kakigori of foie and pine nuts with yellow wine, smoked matcha cheesecake. All for the amazingly low price of 58 euros.
