Serene Sollip, tucked down a side street near London Bridge, is the creation of Korean husband-and-wife team Woongchul Park and Bomee Ki, who both trained at Le Cordon Bleu. With Park (ex-Ledbury and Koffmann’s) on savory and Ki (ex-Arts Club) on sweet, they work together to produce a new tasting menu for every season. The signature daikon tarte tatin beautifully exemplifies the classical French and Korean influences at play. The wine list by Keeling Andrew & Co. (of Noble Rot) leans toward Burgundy.
