Set in a former distillery that dates back to the 1910s, The Tower, designed by Rem Koolhaas, was the last building to complete the incredibly ambitious project of the Prada Foundation. On the sixth floor of the tower is restaurant Torre; contemporary art, sleek designer furniture and the beautiful terrace make it one of the most striking locations in the city. Chef Lorenzo Lunghi, a Fulvio Pierangelini alum, makes classic contemporary Italian cuisine that pairs perfectly with the views over the Duomo, in dishes such as risotto with saffron and gamberi rossi (red shrimps) and spaghetti with roasted peppers.
