Formerly located inside the historic Palazzo Petrucci, this restaurant has now moved to an outstanding location in Posillipo with a view over Capri, the Sorrento peninsula and Vesuvius. Chef Lino Scarallo, born and bred in Naples, applies refinement and flair to the bounty of local ingredients, in the way, we can imagine, that French cooks would have done at the Bourbon court. Dishes include risotto with saffron, prawns and blueberries and pacchero with buffalo ricotta, Neapolitan ragù and cacioricotta. The vegetarian menu is called mangiafoglie (“leaf-eater”), slang for Neapolitans, who preferred eating vegetables way before it was cool.
