Review for this restaurant

It takes a lot of nerve to call a business the Magic Place – unless, of course, it has such a wonderful 360°-degree view over the cliffs of the Dolomites that, rather than a boast, it seems more like an objective description. In this restaurant at the highest altitude in Italy, the mountains take center stage, even though Heinrich Schneider’s cooking is inventive and refined. Think strawberry and sour cream soup, caviar and purple basil crackers or roe deer in red wine with flowers, apple in a lemon balm osmosis and celery.
