Marbella, with its flashy hotels and restaurant, is not an easy place for fine-dining establishments. Yet Marcos Granda has somehow made it happen at this jewel box in the city’s old town. The reason? An obsession with the smallest of details, from the choice of ingredients to the service to the Zalto glassware. Dishes are anchored in classic recipes but often include a contemporary component, like oxtail ravioli with coffee. There is a small terrace for outdoor dining in good weather, which in Marbella means a good portion of the year.
