TohQa is the highly personal project of the brothers Edu and Juanjo Pérez. A native of Saucejo (Seville), chef Edu trained in San Sebastián at the Luis Irízar school, eventually becoming the grill master at Cataria, Elkano’s Andalusian outpost. Only open from spring through early fall, Edu takes the concept of grill-based cuisine to a new level, and it isn’t too much to say that his is the most avant-garde grill restaurant you will ever visit. Brother Juanjo runs the front of the house and has organized the short but interesting wine list at this colorful restaurant.
