Every major city needs a restaurant like Via Veneto, a place where the regulars are businesspeople, local celebrities and visiting elites. David Andrés’ kitchen turns out the type of elegant comfort food one imagines that clientele prefers: tartare of crayfish and prawns with a Waldorf salad and celery sorbet or roast rabbit with a stroganoff sauce. Service from the tuxedoed wait staff is exemplary. The wine cellar, located 6 meters underground, is one of the best in the country and contains a collection of national and French wines from throughout Europe.
