Way up high on level 33 of The Shard, northern Chinese restaurant Hutong is more than just a spectacular view. It’s the London outpost of the Aqua Restaurant Group’s Hong Kong original, and it pulls off all its sister restaurants’ biggest hits in some style: glossy roasted Peking duck carved tableside, ma la crispy eel, braised chinkiang pork ribs and beautifully crafted lunchtime dim sum platters. Atmospherically lit and hung with red lanterns, it has the wow factor in spades.
