Though one might not be able to discern it from his television persona, Gordon Ramsay’s flagship restaurant in Chelsea remains one of the best fine-dining experiences in London. Matt Abe, who has risen through the Ramsay ranks, leads the kitchen. The modern French cooking is perfectly executed, and ingredients are of exceptional provenance: the famous ravioli of lobster, langoustine and salmon, Cornish turbot with pumpkin, shiso and citrus beurre blanc and pigeon roasted with beetroot, pickled blackberries and buckwheat. There is also a vegetarian tasting menu on offer.
