This quintessential glossy City restaurant, high up in a tower on a street named Poultry, serves bankers and their clients consistently excellent French classics incorporating the best of British ingredients. At what is possibly the most famous of the restaurants in the D&D group’s large stable, head chef Damien Rigollet’s menu is one of unapologetic decadence: coquilles St. Jacques, foie gras, Dover sole, chateaubriand. Be warned: The roof terrace is one of the City’s most popular come summer, so reserve early.
